Shane Ngakuru sold encrypted ANOM phones to organised crime figures globally - unaware they'd been distributed by the FBI.

Operation Trojan Shield was revealed in June 2021 with more than 500 arrests, along with the seizure of millions of dollars and tonnes of drugs.

Shane Ngakuru was extradited to the US in 2022 where he admitted to selling the ANOM devices for criminal purposes.

The Comanchero member pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and is due to be sentenced in April.
