A man with historical indecency convictions was able to get work as a teacher for a private education provider where he sexually abused at least eight children

    16 August 2025
Our newsroom has revealed that in 2002 - Timothy Fisher was convicted of three counts of committing an indecent act.

Despite the convictions, he passed background checks and gained employment at various schools and teaching providers.

    He taught English for EduExperts.

On Thursday he was sentenced to four years and five months in prison on 14 charges - including committing indecent acts on children and making objectionable material.

EduExperts says it's disappointed by the case and has expressed sympathy to those who have been impacted.
