Air New Zealand's changing its pet travelling rules - restricting crate-size limits for smaller aircraft on regional routes

The change comes in response to 53 staff being injured loading and unloading animals in the past couple of years.
From next Tuesday, pets and their carrier's combined weight can no longer exceed 60 kilograms on certain flights.
Pets over 60kg will still be permitted on some domestic routes but only if booked through a pet transporter company.
