Many businesses across the country could have unknowingly have a gender pay gap

Many businesses across the country could have unknowingly have a gender pay gap

    8 February 2026
The new STILL Minding the Gap survey aims to build a robust evidence base, to inform policy and support companies to strengthen their pay practices.

It gathers information on how to measure and report pay gaps, as well as the costs involved.

Project Director Jo Cribb says having a pay gap comes as a surprise to many companies.

She says the survey wants to know what's getting in the way of having a look, as tackling pay gaps can have a net benefit for businesses.
