Liam Gallagher is planning a big family Christmas bash but his brother Noel is not invited

Although Liam and Noel have put their differences behind them to reunite for an Oasis tour next year, the siblings are planning to celebrate the holiday season separately with Liam flying their mother Peggy over from Ireland for Christmas at his house, along with their brother Paul

    25 December 2024
A source told The Sun on Sunday's Bizarre column: "Liam wanted to go all-out for Christmas so he invited the whole family. His mum Peggy is coming, as is his brother Paul.

"Liam and [his fiancee] Debbie have decorated the house and are putting on a six-course meal as well as cocktails and games. It's going to be immense."

Noel - who split from wife Sara MacDonald in 2023 - is planning his Christmas festivities with his own family.

Liam and Noel had a famously acrimonious relationship during their time together in Oasis and stopped talking after the band split in 2009 after a row backstage in Paris.

Noel issued a statement saying: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."

In another statement a few days later, titled "Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere", Noel added: "The details are not important and of too great a number to list. But I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable. And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new."

However, they put their differences behind them earlier this year to announce a series of Oasis shows next summer.
