Warwick Davis reportedly may accuse a hospital of medical negligence in the wake of his wife's death

The 'Star Wars' and 'Willow' star, 54, was left devastated when his fellow actor wife Samantha Davis died on 24 March, 2024 aged 53.

    12 January 2025
He has now instructed law firm Irwin Mitchell to represent his family following her death, according to Mail Online.

The outlet added specialist medical negligence solicitor Madeline Nugent is working with the company to "further investigate the circumstances of her death".

It said coroner Mrs Jean Harkin announced on Thursday (09.01.25) her inquest would answer questions about the circumstances around Samantha's passing.

In a report in which it said Warwick could end up suing over his wife's death, the Mail revealed the actor and his daughter Annabelle, 27, were due to take part in the proceedings.

They were held remotely on Thursday from Inner West London Coroner's Court.

But the hearing was adjourned before any evidence was presented to the court as Warwick was unable to connect remotely.

Counsel for the Davis family, William Chapman, told the court the actor's web connection kept "dropping out" - before suggesting the hearing be adjourned to ensure that Warwick could follow the inquest and fully contribute.

Assistant coroner Jean Harkin told the court: "Warwick Davis most likely would like to be part of this inquest process.

"At the next hearing I will make sure there is nothing in my diary that day... I will give it a full day when I relist."

Mr Chapman replied: "We are content with your suggestion and are grateful for it."

The inquest is set to hear whether the treatment Samantha received at University College London Hospital for a spinal condition contributed to her death.

She died after falling ill with sepsis in 2019 which led to intensive care treatment, sparking operations on her spine that were undertaken at University College London Hospital.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' son has been filmed jokily performing a sex act on his girlfriend.

Christian 'King' Combs, 26, who has been dating influencer Raven Tracy, 31, since 2021, is seen in a new clip posted on her Snapchat story licking her chest as she wears only a skimpy bikini.

Raven captioned the video: "Caution, he may motorboat you with this top."

Motorboating refers to someone putting their head in a woman's chest and making a noise like a motor with the lips while moving the head from side to side - and has featured in a string of Hollywood comedies including 'Wedding Crashers'.

Christian and Raven regularly document their lavish lifestyle online, which features private jet trips, stays in luxury hotels and flashing bling.

The clip comes after Christian was accused in April last year of sexually assaulting a woman on a yacht during a family holiday in St Martin in 2022.

Grace O'Marcaigh alleged he physically and sexually assaulted her - with his now-jailed father Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 55m also named in the lawsuit.

Combs is languishing at one of America's toughest jails, the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City, since last September after being arrest on federal charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for purposes of prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty and denies all charges.

It was reported before Christmas Combs has lost a huge amount of weight behind bars.

A journalist who attended his last court proceeding - Law and Crime journalist Elizabeth Millner - was quoted by Page Six saying after a court hearing the rapper attended in December: "He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect (from him being) inside a federal detention centre for a couple of months now.

"A lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before, but he appeared very noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him."

The reporter added Combs' appearance was starkly different from how he looked in a video that surfaced online of him playing hacky sack in Central Park days before he was arrested on 16 September.

She added the rapper's hair has also changed, saying: "He appeared greyer a little bit."
