A Kawhia man who fired at least eight shots at four men when they smashed their way into his home in June last year- killing one - has been found NOT guilty of murder and manslaughter

Orren Williams has also been cleared of three charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 38-year-old had been on trial in the High Court at Hamilton for the past two weeks.
Williams and his wife, Taryn, hugged in the public gallery as he was released from the dock by Justice Mary Peters this afternoon.
