    Rents have come to a grinding halt, around the country

    New figures from Trade Me show the national median rent has remained unchanged for the third consecutive month -- at 540 dollars a week.

    The median rent remained unchanged in Auckland, Wellington and Canterbury, between April and May.

    There was also no change to the median rent in the Bay of Plenty, Manawatu-Whanganui and Southland regions.
