Fast food operator Restaurant Brands says despite making record sales, it still has major cost issues

The operator of KFC, Pizza Hut, Carl's Junior and Taco Bell -- has posted one-point-three-billion-dollars in full-year sales.
Its net after-tax profit was 15-point-eight-million-dollars, down half a million annually.
But it says increases in the cost of ingredients and minimum wages placed big pressure on its margins in New Zealand.
