Jazz Tevaga admits the passing of best friend and former Junior Warriors teammate Roman Tuhimata has taken a toll on him

Tuhimata died last month from cancer.

Tevaga led a fundraising effort - donating 10 dollars for every tackle, one dollar for every metre gained and 500 for each try.

The fan favourite utility forward now plays for Manly - and returns to Mt Smart for the first time since Tuhimata's passing when they play the Warriors on Friday.

Tevaga says he thinks about his mate everyday.
