Southerly swell 1 metre. Poor visibility in late evening rain. Tuesday: Northwest 25 knots but 35 knots south of Cape Terawhiti. Rising to northwest 40 knots everywhere in the morning, then easing to 30 knots about midday and to 20 knots in the afternoon. Changing southerly 10 knots for a time in the south in the evening. Sea becoming very rough for a time. Southerly swell rising to 2 metres. Poor visibility in morning rain. Wednesday: Northwest 15 knots, rising to 25 knots in the morning. Sea becoming rough.
