Long period southwest swell rising to 4 metres, offshore. Northwest swell 1 metre north of East Cape, easing. Outlook following 3 days: Monday: Westerly 20 knots. Heavy southerly swell, but moderate southwest swell north of East Cape. Tuesday: Westerly 20 knots, becoming northerly 15 knots south of East Cape early. Heavy southerly swell, but moderate southwest swell north of East Cape. Wednesday: Rising to northerly 25 knots everywhere early, rising to 35 knots later. Sea becoming very rough. South of East Cape - Heavy southerly swell dying out. Moderate northeast swell developing. North of East Cape - Moderate southwest swell dying out. Moderate northwest swell developing.
