Northeast swell 4 metres easing. Very poor visibility in periods of heavy rain in the morning and afternoon. Tuesday: Northwest 25 knots, easing to 10 knots in the evening. Rough sea easing. Moderate southerly swell. Wednesday: Variable 10 knots, becoming southwest 20 knots early. Moderate southerly swell, dying out north of East Cape. Thursday: Southwest 25 knots, becoming northwest 10 knots but westerly 25 knots north of East Cape early. Rough sea easing for a time.
