Southeast 15 knots developing in the morning, rising to easterly 25 knots about Puysegur Point in the evening. Sea becoming rough. Very long period southwest swell rising to 4 metres. Northerly swell 2 metres developing. Outlook following 3 days: Wednesday: Easterly 20 knots, rising to northeast 35 knots north of West Cape in the afternoon. Sea becoming very rough in the north. Heavy southwest swell easing. Northerly swell becoming heavy. Thursday: Northeast 25 knots but 35 knots north of West Cape. Becoming northerly 35 knots everywhere early. Sea very rough.
