The NZ Sharemarket fell slightly yesterday with the NZX50 down -0.50% percent (-65.68 points) from previous close to end the day at 12,880. The most actively traded stock on the sharemarket, with over 15.0 million shares changing hands was Spark New Zealand Ltd , closing the day down 18% from it's opening to $2.93. The next biggest trader was NZ Windfarms Ltd (23.5c) with over 1.9 million shares being traded. Falls outweighed rises by 135 to 91, with the biggest loser being Spark New Zealand Ltd (up 0%), while the star of the day was AoFrio Ltd (. |
